Lombard House is a charming Grade II Regency period guest house that was built in the early 18th century. We are located on a quiet south facing terrace in Penzance with wonderful sea views overlooking the fabulous Mounts Bay which is the largest bay in Cornwall and home to the famous St Michael's Mount. We have private parking for all our guests as well as lovely south facing front garden for you to use on those hot sunny days.

The guest house has been owned and run by the family since 1995, in which time we have built up a reputation for offering good quality accommodation in a warm, friendly, homely environment. We were also used as a filming location for the film Amazing Grace based on the Rosamunde Pilcher book Coming Home. The property is perfectly located overlooking the promenade and ideal for exploring West Cornwall with all its wonderful attractions and beautiful places like the Minack Theatre, Isles of Scilly, St Michael's Mount, Mousehole, St Ives, and the Eden Project to name just a few. There are also the art galleries, tropical gardens and plenty of other historical places.

We are conveniently located close to the town centre with the historic Chapel Street only minutes away. So whether you're walking or driving you will find it easy to get around in Penzance. There are plenty of shops, inns, excellent restaurants and places to get breakfast nearby at a time convenient for you. The train and bus station are approximately 12 minutes walk, perfect for discovering West Cornwall and beyond, plus we are just a few minutes walk from the Scillonian ferry terminal and only six minutes drive from the heliport in Penzance.

The guest house is totally non-smoking and has an ultrafast broadband connection. While staying with us we offer free unlimited internet access to all our guests as well as free private parking if required. We can also provide you with additional parking for the Isles of Scilly should you wish to leave your car however, we do have a limited number of spaces so this would need to be reserved in advance.
